Terms of Service
Last updated October 17, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Fieldspilot when you use our website and software. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
Fieldspilot provides software for running a home service business, including call answering, requests, scheduling, quotes, invoices, payments and messaging. We may improve, change or retire features over time, and we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what you paid for.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by your team members.
- You must have authority to bind your business to these terms.
Plans, trials and billing
New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial you continue on the plan you choose or on Free. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as shown on our pricing page, and you can cancel any time. Cancelling stops future charges; we do not refund periods already paid unless the law requires it.
Credits
Some features, such as AI call answering and text messages, use prepaid credits. Credits you buy do not expire, and the rates are shown in the product. If your balance reaches zero, automation that uses credits pauses, and calls ring through to your phone.
Payments
Card and bank payments are processed by our payment partners and are subject to their terms. Processing fees are shown before you turn a payment feature on. You are responsible for the accuracy of invoices and for any taxes you charge.
Calls, recordings and texts
- You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to recording calls and sending texts in your area, including any consent and opt-out rules.
- Fieldspilot honors opt-outs, but you must not send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them.
- AI answering is an assistant. What it captures is editable, and you should check details before acting on them.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. That includes breaking the law, sending spam or deceptive messages, infringing others’ rights, trying to break or overload the service, reselling it without our agreement, or uploading malicious code.
Your data and ours
You own the data you put into Fieldspilot, and you give us permission to process it to provide the service. We own the software and our branding. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Fieldspilot at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk. On request, we will help you export your data before it is deleted.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Fieldspilot is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
General
We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes. These terms are governed by the laws that apply to your Fieldspilot agreement as set out when you sign up, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions: privacy@fieldspilot.com.
