Security
Last updated October 17, 2026
Your customers’ names, addresses, calls and payments are in our care. This page describes how we protect them.
Your data is kept separate
Every business has its own protected workspace. Access to data is checked on every request, so one business can never see another’s information.
Roles and access
- Owners, dispatchers and technicians each see only what their role allows. Technicians do not see your costs, margins or payment settings.
- Technicians sign in with a PIN, and you can deactivate a team member instantly, which ends their sessions.
- Passwords are never stored in readable form.
Payments
Card and bank details go straight to our payment providers, which are built for handling payments. Fieldspilot does not store full card numbers.
Calls and recordings
Call recordings and transcripts are stored against your account, and you decide who on your team can open them. You are in control of whether AI answering is on.
Protection in transit and at rest
Data is encrypted while it travels between your device and our servers, and stored with encryption on the infrastructure we use.
Records and deletion
Important financial and credit activity is recorded in an audit trail that is not edited after the fact. You can ask us to erase a customer’s personal data where the law gives them that right.
Reporting a problem
If you think you have found a security issue, email security@fieldspilot.com with the details. We will look into it promptly.
